Beethoven 1784 - This anonymous oil painting was rediscovered in 1952 and apparently shows Beethoven as a 13 year old boy. According to the inscription it was presented by Beethoven to Baron Von Zmeskall. Several changes around the mouth and chin are evident.

Between the years 1792 and 1827 when Beethoven lived in Vienna, he is known to have had around 70 different lodgings. Of these only a few are the original buildings (such as the Pasqualati house on the Molkerbastei) so many of the photos here are new buildings on the original site.
